Hawk Trade X Scanner — Privacy Policy

Hawk Trade X Scanner ("we") is a browser extension that provides candlestick chart analysis for the Binodex website. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

1. What we collect

Data is collected only when you choose to create an account or sign in to use the access system. This is limited to:

• Account credentials — your chosen username and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash.
• Account identifier — a generated ID (format HWK-XXXXX) used to identify your subscription.
• Access data — your subscription tier, its expiry, and your daily scan count (used to enforce plan limits).
• Session token — stored locally in your browser to keep you signed in.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your trades, balance, or any financial information from Binodex. The extension never opens or reads the account socket of your Binodex profile, so it never receives your access token, e-mail or account data.
• We do not track your browsing history or activity on other websites.
• We do not collect your location, contacts, or device identifiers.
• Candlestick analysis is performed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Requests to Binodex

To build candles, the extension calls public endpoints of the platform itself: the quote stream at api-coins.binodex.app and the quote and pair directories at api.binodex.app. These requests require no sign-in, carry none of your data, and send the platform nothing beyond the trading pair and timeframe you selected on the site itself. No cookies and no authorization headers are sent with them.

4. How we use your data

The data above is used solely to authenticate you, manage your subscription tier, and enforce daily scan limits. It is not used for any other purpose.

5. Where your data is stored

Account data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database provider acting as our data processor. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Access to the database is restricted to the specific server functions required to operate the service.

6. Data retention and your rights

Account data is kept while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below, after which your account and associated data will be removed.
